Real Madrid superstar and world's best footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has been reportedly interested in a return to Premier League club Manchester United.

According to the report just reaching NAIJMAN, the Portuguese international was said to have been let down by the Spanish giants and will quit the reigning European champions this summer. Ronaldo feels Real Madrid have not protected him sufficiently after he was charged with allegedly evading £13 million in tax.

He was also said to be puzzled after being left out of a video promo for Real Madrid's new kits for next season. “I love Manchester. Everyone knows that. Manchester is in my heart. "I left many good friends there. The supporters are amazing and I wish I can go back one day." Ronaldo was quoted to have said.

Meanwhile the news of Ronaldo heading back to England will come as a tonic for Manchester United gaffer Jose Mourinho who will love to have a reunion with the 32-year-old.
